Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy Odarpu Yatra news updates:

 

 

Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy decided to go ahead with Odarpu Yatra. He will start Odarpu Yatra from Ichchapuram in Srikakulam district on July 8 which is incidentally the birth day of his father, Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy.

 

 

July 7, 1:30 PM: Kadapa MLA nad education minister, Ahmadullah met Jagan and discussed with him for few minutes.

 

July 7, 2:30 PM: Jagan discussed with K.V.P. Ramachandra Rao about Yatra and political situation.

 

 

July 7, 2:45 PM: Election commission received a request for registration of YSR Congress party. ysrcongress.com was taken by a person from Gannavaram while ysrcongress.in was taken by a person from Bangalore.

 

 

So, YSR Congress Party will definitely play vital role in the Coastal and Rayalaseema areas in 2014 Assembly elections.  Congress (Y) may give stiff competition to major parties especially in Rayalaseema and Southern Coastal districts where Reddy community has significant presence.

 

Y.S. Jagan is making rapid decisions and he seems to have been preparing for all this since a long time.

 

 

July 7, 3:15 PM: Andhra Politics are now burning hot after a long time. Odarpu Yatra, Telangana by-elections and Assembly session are enough to create hot atmosphere in a rainy season. 

 

 

July 7, 3:22 PM: Kondru Murali – “I am not participating in Jagan’s Odarpu yatra.” He made this statement after meeting Jagan. Cool move by Jagan’s camp. So, Congress high command can not suspend anyone except Jagan despite knowling well about their loyalties. 

 

 

July 7, 3:30 PM: Y.S. Jagan will reach Secunderbad Railway station within a few minutes. He will start his journey by Falakhnuma express which is expected to reach Ichchapuram station by 7 AM on tomorrow.

 

 

YSR created sensation by “Padayatra“. Y.S. Jagan created sensation by “Odarpu Yatra.”

 

 

Falakhnuma express will depart from Secunderabad station at 4 PM and is expected to reach Guntur station at 8:30 PM and Vijayawada station at 9:30 PM.

 

 

July 7, 3:45 PM: Jagan reached Secunderabad station. New party may help to unearth new leaders.

July 7, 3:54 PM: Y.S. Jagan boarded A/C first class compartment on Falakhnuma express which is expected to start with in 6 minutes.

 

 

YSR Congress party may attract young congress leaders who are struggling to cope with Delhi based High command politics. 

 

 

July 7, 4 PM: Falakhnuma express started its journey from Secunderabad station. Jagan started his revolutionary Odarpu Yatra.

4:50 PM: Falakhnuma express is expected to reach Nalgonda by 5:45 PM. Congress high command dismissed Yatra as a small issue. 

 

5:38 PM: Falakhnuma Express reached Nalgonda station. Jagan received grand welcome from Congress party supporters. 

 

5:50 PM: Train is still not started even after halting for 12 minutes. Official halting time is 2 minutes. 

 

5:54 PM: Falakhnuma express has started from Nalgonda station and is expected to reach Miryalaguda station by 6:20 PM. 

 

6:50 PM: Andhra Pradesh chief minister, K. Rosaiah released a letter to the media with a title “High command’s view on Odarpu Yatra.”

 

8:45 PM: Falakhnuma express reached Guntur town. Hundreds of Congress party activists welcomed Jagan. Many second rung leaders benefitted in different ways during YSR days. They are now showing gratitude on Jagan. Will they stand behind him even without Congress flag? 

 

At Vijayawada: MLA, Malladi Vishnu and Avinash (son of Devineni Nehru) welcomed Jagan. Hundreds of supporters shouted in support of Jagan.
